YTD..EOD... EUGMP... CRAMS... NON BETA Synthesis.:-)

On my c-pad(Old model m2000 Compaq Presario)...I am writing after long...Have two reasons for it, which i'll like to hide from you:)

Life is moving at a pace with work,life,Family,Friends each getting muddled in 24*60*60 seconds of the day.. :):(, Yes each facet demands its time, but as of now work takes it all:), and it is not wrong too... As at the EOD Work has to pay back something... It was the end of week 3 for my new journey that made me see few new words(Both in day and night):
EOD- End Of Day
YTD- Year till Date
GMP-Good Manufacturing Practices and so on...

Yeah, getting connected to the Pharma buzz, Things are interesting in some ways but quite exasperating on the other side, My dreams see me finding the cost of cephalosporins, SSPs and many more... The names that i could never ever see again in last 5 years, Someday a name came 'Pencillin' and i went back 10 years and realized that we are talking about the same Pencillin that was discovered by every Child's very own Alexender Fleming:), The guy who made us score one mark each time the question came in the 7-8-9th class in GK and Science Exams:). Then after recalling this, i built a conviction that what ever i was reading in their Red Herring Prospectus is a derivative of my historic Chemistry study..:).. Please dont get confused, I am not making molecules in my org, what i am doing is finding the cost of each molecule produced and for that i need to know all 'cillins','cephs' and their brothers/sisters who contribute as raw material for the Parent APIs... The story doesnt ends here, These good looking names have also made me read much about the DGFT for the Licencing norms as the stuff comes from various countries in different currencies... Costing was never so tough in MBA, but it is not so easy here.. All these good looking names are actually like the models on the ramp , who have the same looks and expressions barring few individual differences.
The journey is not about costing alone, I have to deal with the financials too, where u r supposed to work on the figures, put them into sheets and make them look good so that they pull investors towards you.. on the day one , i thought, how can a figure look good, it is all abt its value, of late i realized that the simpler the process of understanding the value becomes , better is its look... Means 5600,000,000=5600Million=560crores... Simple mathematics, but too critical..
You need to act as a calculator, a computer, a database and many more, your boss asks you about any figure anytime, and what all u can do is... have to say the exact figure...
