If they cared for you

If they cared for you, they wouldn't have asked you for self-damaging actions; if they were worried for your health; they wouldn't have transformed a divine feeling into a political drama; if they were concerned, they wouldn't have glorified the enthusiasm of crowd emerging into election rallies. Not acting in time and politicizing gatherings in the name of religion has only shown us our worth in their eyes. It's not about support machinery anymore; it's about a few politicians who do not consider us more than vote bank. Even if something happens tomorrow, it's only a number that will be tagged to us. If not for yourself, think for the million frontline folks struggling to keep us alive and healthy. Please stop being a dumb stooge and resist ridiculous activities accelerating the virus spread, even if it means not listening to someone you know very well. #wakeup #maskup #staysafe Sent from my iPhone

India today

I may sound like a pseudo critic, but this is India in my view. There's a head of country who's running after mics and that has become his priority. There are state governments who are happy reporting an eye pleasing statistic because they don't want their reputation to dent. There's an opposition which is trying to beat the Comedy Central and then there's a virus which has become rogue and "aatmanirbhar" when it comes to its prosperity. There are people who still want to believe that Covid is an exaggeration and all this is crap. So god bless us all

High time

It is high time that people own up to spreading this virus and stop blaming China or anything based on our political liking. While the last year was more about being cautious and staying protected indoors, there's no denying that Covid has now infiltrated into most houses(including us last week when we tested positive, thanks to God, our family, and friends that we are recovering and holding up well). If there is something that we can do about it is not to take it casually. There's a need for us to know all home therapies and potential cures, but at the same time, we must follow the right medical protocols, not resort only to the WhatsApp forwards. The situation in the bigger cities is not great despite being equipped with good infrastructure, economic power, resources, and great attention from media and government alike. Covid doesn't discriminate based on region, religion, or social status; hence, it is foolish to assume that the smaller cities or bigger houses can dodge
