Some of my Facebook updates.. Thought to post here too

If you have a belief that something can't be done, at least Dont think of getting in the way of the person who is doing it... What is ur take on this? I guess, By Doing the same thing again and again , still expecting some extremely different results is nothing more than definition of being crazy...Think Different , but support that thinking by doing different. The journey Ahead has synonyms: Excitement, Fear, Anxiety , Joy , Inquisitiveness , Delight , Aspirations , Dream ,Faith in God , Hardwork , Dedication ,Determination and Courage to face challenges... I believe that we are our WORK. I hope we do not trade our life and time for nothing more than few extra RUPEES. For me.. Roger Federer is a better player than anyone else, Rafa might have won 3 in a row against Fedex.. All I know is .. I started loving tennis while watching Roger playing it.. Had no interest in Tennis earlier... To me he is a GOAT. Wish and desire tht he wins French Open this year. Hang me, I am fed up with co...

The Mathematics of SMS

48 INR=750 SMS... 99INR= 30000 SMS...Maximum consumption of a guy/gal having a gf/Bf is 200-300sms/day, means around 10000sms per month max. What an equation the companies make, making ppl buy 30000 when they need 1/3rd of it. and then pricing the second option just too unbeneficial, thereby making a forcible purchase.. Still you ppl say tht Telecom sector is no more profitable:-)

The Final Get Together of College

WHy Go for I-Phone 3GS...:-)

An outsourced story... But found good... Have a look :-) 1. By all accounts, the iPhone 3GS works at a blazing rate of knots. We always thought that the original iPhone and the 3G were reasonably fast. So when we are looking at a speed hike (Apple claims the 3GS is TWICE as fast as the 3G in some tasks) we think it is reason enough to get the 3GS! In fact, many of the new apps on the App Store work best with the 3GS, and that alone will be a major reason for app freaks to upgrade. 2. The improvement in battery life is a huge plus. While the 3G used to last for about a day, we hear the 3GS ups that by about 50 per cent. Now, that would save us the hassle of carrying a charger all the time. 3. The three megapixel camera with autofocus and 30 fps VGA video recording makes a huge difference to the iPhone 3GS, especially when combined with the option to tweak video on the device itself, not to mention sharing them online. Finally, we have a great camera on the Godphone. 4. Voice control all...

The 3G storyy

Why did some foreign telecos not participate in the 3G auction? Uninor, a joint venture between Norway's Telenor and India's Unitech, first wants to see clarity emerge on the allotment of 2G spectrum before it takes the 3G plunge. Allocations of 2G airwaves have been put on hold until the government comes up with a new allotment methodology. Before March 2009, when the allocations were stopped, telecom companies got spectrum based on their subscriber numbers. Also staying away are overseas multinational telecom firms such as AT&T, Verizon, British Telecom, France Telecom, MTN, Orascom and Deutsche Telekom that are not present in India. They argue that the 3G policy is heavily loaded in favour of existing operators that offer services on 2G airwaves. Another reason for shunning the 3G auction is that many countries have already started commercial deployments of 4G technologies such as long-term evolution and Telenor is evaluating whether it should leapfrog by skipping 3G. Su...

All we can come to know about the Swiss Bank Accounts :-)

What are Swiss bank accounts? Swiss bank accounts, are just like any other bank account, albeit the heightened security through sophisticated security systems and absolute privacy offered by Swiss banks. All Swiss banks are regulated by the Swiss Federal Banking Commission and serve clients from all over the world. What kinds of customers are allowed to open a Swiss bank account? Just like a normal bank, almost any individual can open a Swiss bank account. Swiss bank accounts aren't just for millionaires, criminals or government officials trying to hide ill-gotten wealth, or celebrities protecting their assets from former spouses. They're available to anyone and average people, too, have Swiss bank accounts. People who live in countries with unstable governments and banks in particular often turn to Swiss banks because of their security and privacy. How does a Swiss Bank account work? A non-Swiss national must be at least 18 years of age to open an account in a Swiss bank. The ...

AAAATMMMMMssss

History of free ATM usage Before April 1, 2009, if you had to use the ATM of any bank with whom you don't have any banking relationship, you ended up paying fees. It meant you had to find the closest ATM belonging to your bank to withdraw cash and make balance inquiries. So RBI introduced a directive to the banks to allow free use of ATM machines irrespective of which bank a customer had accounts with. This meant that irrespective of which bank you bank with, you could use any other bank's ATM free of cost. However the banks were only to charge for the cash withdrawal made by the customers by using their credit cards, while cash withdrawal on debit card was made free. So with effect from April 1, 2009, you could withdraw cash from any ATM free of charge. Banks make a loss However, this has not worked out in the favour of banks. Earlier when the use of ATM was not free, the interchange fee was borne by the customers. This fee covered the expenses incurred by both the concerned b...
