Interesting point

Amazing logic indeed. This is a crazy world! Interesting article written by an Indian Economist Japanese save a lot. They do not spend much. Also, Japan exports far more than it imports. Has an annual trade surplus of over 100 billion. Yet Japanese economy is considered weak, even collapsing. Americans spend, save little. Also US imports more than it exports. Has an annual trade deficit of over $400 billion. Yet, the American economy is considered strong and trusted to get stronger. But where from do Americans get money to spend? They borrow from Japan, China and even India. Virtually others save for the US to spend. Global savings are mostly invested in US, in dollars. India itself keeps its foreign currency assets of over $50 billion in US securities. China has sunk over $160 billion in US securities. Japan's stakes in US securities is in trillions. Result: The US has taken over $5 trillion from the world. So, as the world saves for the US - It'...

Interesting

Often, our relationships become an unrealized quest for what is perfect, unfettered, and free of flaws. We expect our partners, our friends to avoid missteps and to be magical mind readers. These secret expectations play a sinister part in many of the great tragedies of our lives: failed companionships, dissipated dreams, abandoned careers, outcast family, deserted children, and discarded friendships. We readily forget what we once knew as children: our flaws are not only natural but integral to our beings.  Imperfection and excellence are intertwined. There has to be a joy in our pain, strength in weakness, courage in compassion, and power in forgiveness  Extracted from Ann Brasco's notes on authentic living  Sent from my iPhone

First casualty

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch. The freebies on offer by jio and sundry have led to a significant casualty in Rcom.  You may want to contest that the telecom user is benefitting from this, but ultimately, you also happen to be a consumer of employment and business. - Ankit

Glorifying Invisibility

Saw this funny yet annoying conversation of a stylish Gurumaa. I suggest such people should speak more often, and their vulnerable side must get exposed to the followers. It is crucial for us to realise that our idiocy in worship has glorified their status and invincibility

Sajid Chinoy of JP Morgan | Asia Pacific Emerging Markets Research In the wake of growing stress in the banking sector, and the need for banks to have greater visibility of capital as they undergo the resolution process through the new bankruptcy law, the government announced a bold package to recapitalize public sector banks to the tune of Rs2.11 trillion (equivalent to about 1.3% of 2017-18 GDP) over the next two years (fiscal years 2017-18 and 2018-19). The package has three components: two old and one new. First, under the previous Indradhanush recapitalization plan, the government had committed to infusing Rs700 billion from the budget over four years. Of that, authorities have already infused capital worth Rs520 billion over the last two years. Therefore, they remain committed to infusing the remaining Rs180 billion over the next two years. That was always part of the plan, and therefore not a surprise. Second, also under Indradhanush, banks were expected to raise Rs1.1 trillion ...

Discomfort

#LifeLessons #LifeisStrange  I have a severe discomfort of dealing with people, who, on their adventure to appreciation and materialism, forget the roots and basics of their origin. Like growth, aberrations are also a given for life, and we must respect both. Sent from my iPhone
