Honestly speaking, I do not understand the idea of women specific reservation in government jobs which one of the leading national party intends to create. If it is a question of equality, and equal opportunities to the two genders, then it is not the start you want to look at. Don't think it solves any purpose but for deep sizing the gap this society already has.  

Not a firm believer of having an orchestrated day to celebrate and share the influence women have on our lives. Life doesn't change till we all pledge to offer a better world for the balance 364/65 days of the year and to treat you equal, strong and respectable. Happy Women's day today and forever!

I woke up today , having dreamt early morning at 4 AM . I was in the biggest DLF Mall of  India looking to buy a pair of socks and a neck tie . As I walked in, I noticed a sweater with a price tag of RS 9000 .Next to the sweater were a pair of Jeans for Rs.10000 .The socks were Rs.8000 ! And Tie for astonishing 16,000 /- I went looking for a salesperson and found one in the watch Dept  He was showing a man a Rs. 225/- Rolex watch . I looked in the glass case and there was a 4 carat diamond ring also on sales for Rs.95/- Shocked I asked the salesperson "How could a Rolex watch sell for Rs.225/- ? ,and a cheap pair of socks sell for Rs. 8000/-"? As a citizen I still feel that our voices are important, sometimes we appreciate the government, a lot many times we criticise them. But I still wonder as what goes into congress's mind when they think of doing so? They screwed everything in their tenure (at least UPA 2), went down to two digits and now get the voice to ask for this governments report card 😂

I don't know of the benefits this Statue of Unity brings to the tourism or India's rank . However, I hope Sardar Patel in the heaven or this 182 meters tall statue in Gujarat get to see amongst people the unity which we have desired for several years . I think if my friends at Sansad Bhavan get their intent right, the people of this country can forget the inequality of caste, currency, religion and border at a fraction of $400 million spent on this massive monument.

The time is right to kill the other evils that live in our daily chores. It's time that all our social taboos are made to rest at peace. It is also the time that we end up the divisive, discriminatory and toxic mindset that we have got cultured to. It's never too late to start fresh and start respecting the values that make us human. May this festival and the time ahead bring you joy, success and prosperity. Happy Dussehra! Irrespective of the governments in power and without being biased to any of the wings, I seriously want someone to explain what development means for India. I genuinely feel that it is more of a buzzword that everyone gets excited while speaking or hearing. Ever since I have started to understand this concept (maybe for over ten years now), I see little success or a focus towards any of the real indicators that, according to me, can contribute to the progress of a nation. 1. Our folks continue to talk of GDP, credit, fiscal, IIP or sundry, how does it reflect upon the people who, even after 70 years, of independence have not been included into the formal economy. Let alone their inclusion, they, to a significant extent, do not even have access to basic needs. 2. We have been harping on building rail networks, excellent connectivities and so much in the name of development.
