The Friday Fun :-)

September 25th 2008, The debut for liveankit, I started writing my blog with no aim and target in my mind.. It was the day 1 for my blog, Ab Big b to ni hun, tht ppl will read me, almost everyone close to me with whom i chose to share the idea wanted me to write, though like me they were uncertain too, hw to run a blog, wht to share, and hw to get connected... 

Regardless of the various uncertainities tht were flowin in my mind, i wrote the first post, poured ample of data,shared my personal stories,  and started getting readers and commentsss..

The statistics have touched a four figure now, around 1500 visitors, the purpose of telling u all this is not a publicity for blog, or acknowledgin the response, But it is to acknowledge you all for readin my stories continuously , this is not my blog, u have made me feel tht the blog has become ur daily destination too.. i really like it... , barring the informative posts, i know the other posts are useless to u, why others will have interest in reading my stories and tragedies, why would u like to know my routine.. ?? , this is something i am really proud of.. i m happy with it...

Talking about the friday fun, during my trainin in NOIDA(i did one at Xceed ), i found friday to be the best day of the week,  as u guys must be aware tht Software companies work for 5 days, so friday is the last working day there... it is fun all around... ppl in colourful informals, diversified menu  and plannings for weekends...Friday Menu is a splity of software companies.. 

let me quote some live examples:

• At Google India Pvt Ltd, every Friday afternoon the staff gets together at their cafeteria for an hour where they are treated to special food and good music. 
• Called Thank Goodness It’s Friday, it’s a much awaited hour for Googlers. 
• Technology public relations firm Text 100 India Pvt Ltd hosts Freaky Fridays once a month where employees play indoor games such as dumb charades, antakshari or be a part of outdoor activities such as cricket or movies.
  
• Employees at Coca Cola India Inc. get a hamper comprising Coke goodies every Friday. Also, there’s a special Friday menu on offer at the company’s cafeteria and some Fridays, the HR team facilitates sales counters outside the canteen where employees can buy anything from a candle to a car. 

The purpose of discussion is not the friday menu, it is to tell  the changes in the culture of organizations, the functions of HR have changed too...Now we can hardly say tht HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGERS Are performers for a single day, they have a continuous job to be done...

Sometimes during the normal routine , i find tht we , as Indians , least know India... Lets take a peep look on the key attributes of the largest Democracy...
