IPL is a soft target, certainly pulling matches out of Maharashtra is not a solution to ongoing water crisis. What hurts me is the fact that even after six decades of independence and elevation of technology, we have not been able to do much for the life of farmers and their dependence on monsoons. They earn us food which is foremost for survival and yet when it comes to them, it becomes our last priority.
