I don't know if it's just me, or if there are a lot of people who feel this way. I don't expect people to put in endless hours; prefer quality work any day. I also don't expect people to show their face every day, work from home is perfectly fine. I want them to have a quality life outside of work. Yet, I'm not sure why many of the folks still struggle to deliver on one basic expectation: commitment. I need to be able to trust that they will do what is expected. Somehow, it feels like there's a sense of entitlement now; unless it's instant gratification, the needle doesn't move. It's a constant seek for validation rather than trying to be relevant. I'm not sure where this gap is coming from, and I honestly don't think it's a gen Z/ millennial issue
