New Mathematics of GDP... latest GDP trends

The year 2008 wasnt the fall of Roger Federer alone(never mind, i m sure he'll re gain number one slot, it ws just a bad year for him)... but the year led to the new mathematics in the GDP calculations too... Lets see the new trends in GDP: United States  The US economy shrank in the third quarter, falling at an annual rate of 0.3 per cent, possibly indicating a recession has begun Consumer spending, which accounts for two-thirds of the economy, crashed to a 28-year low in the third quarter. In United States and Japan, there is no scope for further reductions in policy rates. Fiscal policy and tax cuts may prove effective, says OECD. United Kingdom In Britain, there has been a fall of 0.5 per cent in the third quarter economic output. The Economic growth in the UK is expected to slow to 0.9 per cent in 2008 and further shrink by 1 per cent in 2009. The country is expected to be the worst hit in Europe. The KPOs that Rock.. :-)

Writing the top ten KPOs wont solve my purpose... Lets learn, wht exactly A KPO is .. why its a rocking business now... Knowledge process outsourcing  (KPO) is a form of outsourcing, in which knowledge-related and information-related work is carried out by workers in a different company or by a subsidiary of the same organization, which may be in the same country or in an offshore location to save cost. Unlike the outsourcing of manufacturing, this typically involves high-value work carried out by highly skilled staff.  KPO firms, in addition to providing expertise in the processes themselves, often make many low level business decisions—typically those that are easily undone if they conflict with higher-level business plans. KPO is essentially an offshoot of BPO.  It is the high-end activity of the BPO industry and is estimated to have a magnificent growth in the next few years.  It is estimated that the low-end work of BPOs’ will shift to destinations like Bangladesh and Philippines,...

If i ask myself abt the class o...

Crude Oil trend :-)

Crude oil has been showing a dramatic pricing movements this year... It is not the first time crude oil's stability has been hurt, a lot many times it keeps on changing... Crude oil is a dollar denominated commodity, for sure the prices of dollar make an impact on its prices...  There was a time when prices reached 140$ a barrel, so the price of one barrel is around 60$ The balance of demand and supply is tight with daily demand of roughly 86 million barrels per day, almost the same level as daily supply. Some of the major issues are: 1. Dollar weakness and funds   A combination of weaker performance in other asset classes and expectations of continued strength across the commodities complex has drawn in investors and speculative funds, providing further support for the market. An added incentive for them has been the weakness of the dollar against other major currencies, which makes dollar-denominated commodities relatively cheap. This made a rise in prices of crude oil...  2. OPE...
