09 must stay f9 :-) , Happy New year to all...

Two days left... there's a new year on the way... 2009 is on the way and 2008 is abt to say bye..!! Time to celebrate for a new beginnin and regret for the historic failures... Ofcourse regretting today wont bring those things back, atleast they make us aware of not repeating the UNUSUAL again... Thinking on new year is not something new, i have been doing the same since 2 decades..:) , i mean every year , the month of december ends up givin way to a new year... A reason to celebrate, tht doesnt mean i m thinkin new year in a myopic way by just celebrating it on one day(31st), if u look it broadly, u take a new year with a change, u think of making some positve changes, u plan a lot and have great aspirations for it..!!  From the last year i m watching a new trend of taking a new year resolution, lot many SMSs come, tht demand me to write my new year resolution..i like to make resolutions too, some of them get fulfilled, not every resolution gets a permanent place in ur character... ...

Issues to look for in 2009... :-)

Now 2008 is about to become a history... Time to chalk out some plans for 2009... I hope tht 2009 brings a smile on every face, like every yr 2008 has been critical, the economic fall and Terrorism have been too great problems.. Here is the list of few big issues that are to be looked... if overlooked, 2009 will be like 2008... Demand Slowdown:   This is the first critical problem and it is hitting all sectors of the economy. The slowing demand has filtered down to the retail space with shops finding fewer buyers even in the normally robust festive season from October to December. Job Losses: The aviation industry tried to bite the bullet when Jet Airways chief Naresh Goyal issued pink slips to nearly 1,000 employees and said similar sack orders were in the offing for 800 more. But he had to quickly back down and reverse the decision. Public Issues: Number three on the list is how the corporate sector can raise money from the public when stock markets are not particularly buoyant. In Ja...

God is best known in not knowing him..

Exams... so was occupied... felt like writing today... though one exam is still pending...When This december ended, i didnt come to know... Writin after so long, tht i have lost the touch.. on one side i have huge list of things to be discussed and on the same side, i m short of things tht i should share... Well, God is best known in not knowing him, its on experience, the more u try to find him, farther u go from him(God)... I guess, God loves to work as MR INDIA, Invisible type..Everyday in our life we atleast come across one event where we find ourselves in a fix, why this happened and how this happened? .. sometimes it is a positve event, and as noble ppl we start saying thanks to God, and manytimes we hate God for those events in our life... We just loose the steerin of life,it seems tht someone else is driving our lives and controllng the events of our life...at the end of day, be it a positve event  or a dud, we have no control on activities that have been tailored in his office...

We are into 3G stage now :-)

Indians have already joined the elite list of countries to announce a policy for third generation mobile service that will enable customers to enjoy voice, video, data and downloading facilities on their mobile phones. INDIA has 60 Mhz of 3G spectrum available. The auction will take place in the 2.1 Ghz band. The government has set a base price of Rs 2,020 crore (Rs 20.20 billion) for each bid for a pan-India license. Initially, there will be three to five operators to sell the 3G services, including state-run BSNL and MTNL. The state-run telecom firms have an edge to start the 3G services earlier than others as they do not have to bid for the spectrum as they only have to match the highest bid in their respective circles. The plan: There is no firm date set for the auction of 3G spectrum, but it is likely to take place before February 2009 since the government may need the money to keep its deficit within control current estimates put the initial entry fee bids that the government wi...

Not so fascinating year for TATAs

It's been a rough year for Ratan Tata and the TATAs. 2008 started off in a grand way, with the acquisition of the iconic British marquees Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR) and the launch of most awaited NANO... JLR deal gave the Tata group the necessary global credentials. Things started skidding off-course when the Nano project had to be pulled out of Singur, West Bengal. Soon the global financial meltdown set in, hurting several group businesses The devastation of the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, the jewel in the Tatas' hospitality crown. TATAs are facing one of the toughest years in its entire existence of over a century. Ratan Tata's grave facial expression in his recent public appearances--be it during his visit to the devastated facade of the Taj or at the height of the Nano conflagration in Singur--reflected the challenges he faces. The global meltdown has hit group businesses. The Tatas are finding it tough to access credit and equity, thanks to the tight liquidity condit...
